Once you have completed your referee training and certification the next steps are to get your equipment and get access to what system your region uses to schedule games. You will arrange with your Regional Referee Administrator (see main referee page) to get your equipment and also is the primary contact for game scheduling.
Different referee organizations and regions use different websites for referee scheduling but they all have common features:
- View game schedules
- Assign or self assign referees to games
- Communication capabilities if games or game assignment change
- Ability to see who is doing the games you are assigned too in case you need to communicate
- Matching of referee skill and experience to appropriate level games, you will generally only be able to sign up for games that the referee administrator believe to be within your capabilities
- Tracking of referee game counts
Currently these are the referee game scheduling systems being used in our regions.
PHMSA (Region 281) and Concord AYSO (Region 305) - www.refscheduler.net
Mount Diablo Soccer Association (Region 223) - https://inleague.mdsoccer.org/app/
Refscheduler.net is used by many regions and referee organizations so you need to provide that information to get to the correct login for your organization. Enter the following information at each of the successive prompts:
Select your Organization type: AYSO (click on "Continue")
Select Section: 2 (click on "List Areas")
Select Area: C (click on "List Regions")
For the next entry it will depend on your region:
Select Region: 281: AYSO Region 281 - Pleasant Hill/Martinez or
Select Region: 305: AYSO Region 305 - Concord
Click on "Login"
The first time you do this you will click on "New Referee Sign-up" and enter your information and your Regional Referee Administrator will be notified of your sign-up and if your certification requirements are complete will establish your login and you will be notified.
Once your referee login has been established you will be able to select your name from the pull-down on the Login page and enter your password.
MDSA uses InLeague which s a more comprehensive application that also includes a referee scheduler. You will register as a volunteer in InLeague then once you are certified as a referee you will be sign up to referee games through the "Game Schedule" functionality.
As you become a more experienced referee you will want to sign-up for multiple region referee game schedule systems to be able to referee in those regions.
